Privacy Policy
Effective date: September 6, 2025
This Privacy Policy explains what information the A.R.C Foundation event may collect, how it is used, and the measures we take to keep it secure. By participating in the Event or joining the Discord, you agree to this Policy.
1. Information We May Collect
- Discord handle, roles, and your messages in Event channels.
- Basic gameplay identifiers required to connect to servers.
- Technical logs for moderation, anti-abuse, and uptime (e.g., timestamps, server events, IPs).
- Any content you voluntarily share (screenshots, clips, streams) in Event spaces.
2. How We Use Information
- Administering teams, roles, and server access.
- Moderating conduct, investigating abuse, and enforcing rules.
- Coordinating schedules, announcements, and results.
- Community highlights and promotion (e.g., sharing Event moments).
3. Data Sharing
We do not sell your information. Limited sharing may occur with:
- Discord (per their platform policies) and game/hosting providers.
- Moderators and admins who help operate the Event.
- Law enforcement or legal requests if we are required to comply.
4. Security
We use reasonable technical and organizational measures (role-restricted access, audit/log practices, least-privilege moderation) to protect Event data. No system is 100% secure; please take care with what you share.
5. Data Retention
Event-specific data is kept only as long as necessary for operation, moderation, and short post-event wrap-up. Certain minimal logs may be retained longer for security and abuse prevention.
6. Your Choices
- You may leave the Discord or event servers at any time.
- You may ask moderators to remove specific content you posted, where feasible.
- Blocking DMs or adjusting privacy settings on Discord remains your choice.
7. Updates
We may update this Policy to reflect operational or legal changes. Material updates will be announced in the Event Discord.
